Apparently according to some other players they were suspended because of social media nonsense

Receiver in the opener looks like Michael Thomas, Noah Brown and who???

My guess is Campbell or Dixon. Who really knows though, this is what camp is for.

Those are the two guys with the speed to stretch the field. I think Campbell is going to be special. Hard to believe he's an 18 year old red shirt freshman.

Obviously worried but the weapons available are still good, and we still have the QB's and Zeke behind the OL

Edit: I think the receivers game one starting are Thomas, Brown and Samuel/Brax. Add in a couple of the younger guys, with Vannett and we are still good on offense

I think it was going to be close even before this news. Foster wasn't going to let Ohio State put up too many points in Blacksburg. I don't know anything about V Tech's team in 2015 but I'm fairly certain they'll suck on offense. Ohio State by 7-10 with a late score. Ugly game.

I like how people are whining and saying "who cares its just weed, it shouldn't be a punishable offense"

1. The law and team rules are two different things

2. It's still illegal in Ohio

3. Just because something is legal doesn't mean your coach would be OK with using it. Cigarettes are legal but I am sure your coach doesn't want you smoking cowboy killers.

Academics is going to play a much bigger role moving forward since the UNC lawsuit; nobody is afraid of the NCAA anymore, but ex players seeking a buck should get everyone's attention. coaches who are doing business as usual re the classroom will come to regret it IMO. Like UM, Miles has addressed classroom issues with suspensions and its cost us too.

What do you want? The death penalty? Do you even know what team rules they violated?

Would you prefer a team vote perhaps?

Or how about they follow should Sumlin's lead at aTm where players were suspended for the Sam Houston State opener? Except that game got pushed back to later in the year and the they played against Florida in the first game....and served their suspension against SHS.....in the 11th game.

LSU fans have hardly any room to snub their noses at tOSU players getting in trouble without the pot calling the kettle black.

I've never understood the hate LSU fans have with Meyer. It's not like he owned them or anything.

You nearly got it... it was Louisiana Tech (who was a top 25 team that year) on the road. And we nearly ended up losing the game because of it. But don't let any facts get in the way of your good story.
