oh yeah, LSU/Auburn too

I bag on LSU, but I don't think any other team has 2 losses or fewer with that schedule

and to the Big East, overlooked still that year, but that was the best football being played and they were the second best conference

also I just remember how hosed LSU was in the Arkansas game, White and slow RB lined up out wide and scored a 40 yard TD that was called back due to a BS procedure penalty.

I think this current season is off to a great start.

07 has an argument, but iirc I felt 09 (biased obviously) was a better season.

Ohio State would have played WVU and probably beaten them handily if Rich Rod's record

We had a top D that year along with well that offense

Every year we've gone to the championship cfb has a serious clusterfrick. '11 was my favorite fall of all time tbh. I was one of the few people I knew who thought we could go 13-0. The fact that it happened and the way it happened was special to me. Also all the other elements made it a great season (Bama being identical to LSU, Penn st., Rg3.)

I'll also add that Oregon was pretty awesome that year with Dennis Dixon. They probably win the title that year if he doesn't blow his knee out.

Michigan had mike hart, jake long, chad henne, Mario manningham, lamar Woodley, and maybe Braylon Edwards (I think he was an 07 draft pick)

how they imploded is still beyond me

yeah, WVU lost that day, and Missouri beat Kansas to take over #1, going into Big12 title game.

CameroHead was packed for MU-KU.

I went to that Oregon/Mich game when I was in HS, but dude was fun to watch. He and J. Stewart were my favorites on that Ducks team. Also, that was Chip Kelly's first year at Oregon (now how things have changed since then )

Other than UGA, all the others were really close. Florida had a really young D, especially in the secondary (Joe Haden played a ton as a TF). Major Wright and Ahmad Black were in that 07 class as well. Tebow did way better than I had though.

That Auburn game . LSU was frustrating, but it was one of the greatest games I'd watched.

While 2005 wasn't as good as 2007, it was rather interesting.

Texas/OSU
One of the GOAT ND/MSU matchups
Bush Push
Fresno St./USC
The BCS Bowl Games.

2005 was the complete opposite of 2007. in 07 as previously stated it was all chaos with the top 5 teams dropping like flies. 05 was epic with usc and texas #1 and 2 the whole season, like 2 massive armies marching towards pasadena and finally meeting there in early january. they gave us the greatest game in any sport I've ever witnessed(i'm 32 years old). along the way the texas/osu game was awesome, as was usc/nd and the fresno game.

That's gotta be the most infamous regular season game ever, right?
