How is Belicheck distinguishable from Jimmy Johnson, Bill Walsh, Chuck Noll, or Bill Parcells? Tom
His success came in the salary cap/free agent era
A lot easier to dominate an era when you dont have to worry about 4-5 major contributors leaving in the offseason and a limit on how much money you can spend on them

Panthers lost that superbowl because their kicker couldn't keep the kickoff in bounds...eagles were never a match regardless of what that score said...and the rams receivers were punked at the LOS simple as that.
I agree with ALL of this.... AND they lost to the Giants.TWICE. Once after facing them in the last game of the regular season. They went All-out to finish 16-0. and it bit them in the arse in the SB.

I feel like they have the right amount of SBs. The first one was bullshite with the tuck rule and it felt like they otherwise junked their way through that run. The next two were legit, but they absolutely got their hearts cut out by ridiculous plays like the insane Tyree and Manningham catches and Welker's drop in the losses.
Anyway, with the two SB losses, spygate and the fact that Brady may have made Belichick (not the other way around), I have a hard time putting him over Bill Walsh and some other greats. Charlie Weis and Josh McDaniels didn't look so good without Brady. Funny how that works.

True but he won all his superbowls over a 4 year period.

If not for a fluke play, he wins in 07. And they were one great throw to manningham to winning another

So? Hes had 10 plus win in 11/12 years since 2001. What the hell does it matter that he was just really fricking dominant for those 4 years? Its not like thats his only success

bullshite. What about the other 59 mins of the game with one of the BEST offenses of all-time???

They lost. No excuses. The play was made, but to act like he isn't a hair away from having 5 rings, well 7 really, is absurd.

Not at all. They had a great game plan to beat the Rams in 2001. They barley beat[and were outplayed] by Carolina in the 2nd win. They should have CRUSHED the overated Eagles team and won by another last second FG. And the best offense of all-time in 2007 and got BEATDOWN by the Giants. And then they lost to basically the same Giants team again. Fluke play or not. Head to head??? Coughlin>>>>>>>>>>>>>BB.
Landry>>>>>>>>>>>>>BB............

Correct answer is Paul Brown

No problem with this choice.
Just like the greatest QB of all-time is his Browns QB. Otto Graham.

I remember when Landry later introduced the shotgun formation
Niners used the shotgun in the early 60s, and the single wing used a shotgun-type snap.
Landry was rather unique in being one of the few who had some expertise on both sides of the ball.

Along with the greatest running back of all-time. Jim Brown.

Walsh innovated the west coast, true, but I would argue BB changed the way a head coach runs an entire organization down to every last detail...
Eh, he mostly emulates Parcells. I'd rank Walsh above him.
