Unless the economics of their sports change radically:

Pirates
Royals

Almost all NBA teams

The NFL is corporate socialism so the big difference between teams is ownership. And even so, the Cardinals under Bidwill almost accidentally won a SB a few years ago. So you can't count out any NFL team.

Holding on to Stafford is the problem, he sucks. Not to mention they'll probable fire Schwartz who's the best coach they've ever had.

NFL: the Jacksonville Jaguars

NBA: Kings/Sonics

MLB: frick if I know. I really haven't followed baseball since the strike back in the 90's. I was going to say the Royals but they won a World Series in 1985. I was just a little kid then.

oh, you said in your lifetime... ah frick it

jazz--they had their chance back in 97-98.

if you can't get it done with the rosters they had and the coaching they had back then in salt lake then it will not be done anytime soon.

If you had asked this question in the 1960s, a popular response would have been the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Sports teams and leagues are fluid.

Even with the push for parity, the NFL does not have amazingly different contenders each year. Teams rise and fall over time with great like in any league.

shite, only 25% of the teams in the AFC have been to the Super Bowl in the last 13 years.

It is not impossible for middle market teams to make it in baseball. Look at the Rays, A's, Twins, etc.

MLB--Texas Rangers.

They had their chance and blew it.

Now they have to be thankful Houston moved into the division or they'd be fighting with Seattle to keep out of the cellar.
