I saw people on here giving him shite yesterday. I thought Romo did a good job and was very informative. Much better than Phil Simms.

I didn't watch the game but I think people were more critical of his delivery/personality than what he actually had to say.

It's great to have a knowledgeable color guy, but that knowledge doesn't mean shite if the guy isn't comfortable behind the mic.

That was fun watching. Color commentators should do more of what Tony is doing. Hopefully he keeps this up and encourages Networks to start dropping a lot of these current guys for younger, smarter talent.

He's a massive improvement over Phil Simms.

With that being said. I think we should point out the greatest moment from Phil Simms.

He's already done more than simms ever did.

It doesn't matter what a a guy says or how good he is if he can't be heard.

I watched a lot of that game and he was constantly drowned out by the crowd none, background noise, etc. I had no idea what he was saying half the time and it actually distracted significantly from the telecast.

It's simple, he either needs to start yelling into the mic or he needs to be fired. Broadcasting 101 is actually having the voice to do it.

Didn't watch much of his game but he was good. Huge upgrade over Simms.

Or, the folks running the mic just need to amplify Tony's volume?

At first I was like obviously that is his job

Then I watched the video and saw he was actually calling out exactly what was gonna happen before it did

He was awesome. Made the game 10x more enjoyable than Phil Simms.

Thank god Miami got Cutler too, because we would have seen this in the booth:
