I don't see any conceivable argument that could keep him outside of the top 10.
I think there are 10 QBs who are better at playing QB than him.

If I may ask, what has he done that's so remarkable? I'm going to lose my mind if someone else screams "THREE SUPER BOWLS!" without discussing what he did for the team in those playoffs. I'm not trying to nitpick here. He had 1 TD in the entire playoffs for his first SB. The actual SB, my god, insert any QB ever and they win going away. Hell that goes for 90% of his playoff games in the first 2 Super Bowls. Does anybody even look at those games or read about them?

I just can't wrap my head around the love he receives at QB. I don't mean to get lazy on you but you know the stats. You know what he's done and what he hasn't done. IMO he's a damn good QB who got lucky as frick to be a part of the Patriots. Somehow it's turned him into a legend.

He's 5th all-time in career passing yards
He's 5th all-time in career passing touchdowns
He's 5th all-time in career passer rating
He's 1st all-time in playoff passing yardage
He's 1st all-time in playoff passing touchdowns
He's received 2 NFL MVP awards
He's received 2 Super Bowl MVP awards

He did all of that without big time superstars at the WR and RB positions for the majority of his career. That is why he's so highly regarded and that is why most people consider him a living legend.

Like I said, Brady is an all-time great without his playoff resume.

He's a 2-time MVP. Only 8 quarterbacks ever can say that.

145 yards 1 TD, all the while your defense had a pick 6, the other QB threw 3 INTs, and you squeaked it out 20-17.

Or we could blindly worship an amazing Super Bowl MVP award

And dammit I think he's good. Just think there are plenty others who could do his job. Whereas I don't think there are many others who could do AR's job.

I honestly think Matt Ryan would have a ring or two if he was in Brady's shoes.

Matt Ryan is honestly the most worthless overrated QB in the league. Looks what he's done with Julio Jones, Roddy White, Harry Douglas, Tony G, Michael the burner Turner and Steven Jackson. Besides the 16-0 season when has brady ever had offensive skill players like that? Ryan shites the bed in the playoffs whereas Brady gets a hard on during the biggest moments

You are correct sir. Brady has done more with lesser players around him. Drafted as the SLOWEST, SKINNIEST QB in the sixth round. Won 3 Super Bowls, been to two more , and now is leading his team to another.
As great as Montana was, his main target was Jerry Rice, a player who is widely considered the GREATEST football player of all time.

Not sure. I just don't see much throwing guys open and lifting guys' ability. He throws his little routes, it works. I feel like an accurate Ryan would do the exact same thing that Brady is doing right now.

I think the idea of great has changed the reality of great. He's great bc he's way above average every time he steps on the field. Then on occasion he blows the other team out of the water. You do that long enough and you're at or near the top. He doesn't put up playstation stats every game, but he doesn't need to.

You're right. Many QBs would be SB winners if their offense hid them and defense went out and won the game.

Brady's SB record after the big game: 3-3 or 4-2

Montana's: 4-0

Plus Montana played back when opponents were actually allowed to play defense.

Also Johnny U is the GOAT

Nope, Joe Montana is GOAT.

Montana is my all-time favorite, so I want to agree with you.

However, if Brady wins a 4th, and has 6 appearances overall with a 50 TD single season...going to be hard to say he's not the best NFL QB ever.

For that reason, I'm cheering for the Hawks to pick him off 5 times and win this thing.

Half of Montana's career with the 49ers, and his first 2 Super Bowl wins (and MVPs) were without Rice. In fact, the only HOFer Montana played with for his first 2 SB wins was Ronnie Lott.

I love how you continuously ignore the fact that he has won the MVP twice.

Like I said, taking away all of Brady's postseason accomplishments, he is still an all-time great.

Brady has won in a run heavy offense, a play action based offense, a small army of smurfs offense, a downfield aerial assualt Randy Moss offense, a dual TE offense, and now an all-around offense.

This.

The Pats have played every type of ball imaginable outside of the option and Brady has been great in all of them.

Just keep ignoring the 2 NFL MVP awards as well as his career numbers. You keep on doing that, we can continue laughing at you.

That's because you are stupid. Matt Ryan had Julio Jones, Roddy White, Tony Gonzalez and Michael Turner all on the same team at one point a couple of seasons ago. He couldn't even get them to the Super Bowl with all of that talent.

Do you know who Tom Brady had to throw to in his first 3 Super Bowl appearances? Deion Branch.

Brady would've gone undefeated and won every game by 30 with that crew.

Falcon fans have a small dick problem.

Anyway, 4-2 in the modern era of free agency makes Brady the best. Also, those loses were not a result of him playing bad.
