Rich Rod's fall is bigger. Dude was a game away from a title appearance a decade ago and he's been 1 game over .500 since that game. It was Tulane fans' pipedream for him to come back to take their job in 2011 and now coaching at a school the level of Tulane is a legit possibility. Feels like he's long over the hill but he's only 54.

Amazing how Alabama fans would still be miserable (well they're still miserable - even if they win) - if Rich Rod hadn't turned down the Alabama job in 2006.

Rich Rod really does take the cake in this department. He was THE coach for a few years and he’s a complete nobody now. I’m starting to get a similar vibe from Brian Kelly. The times I’ve seen ND play over the last two seasons they have been incredibly mediocre. Kelly has a solid track record so surely he’ll figure something out.

If WVU had beaten Pitt, they'd have won the national title, gotten Terrelle Pryor, and turned into a monster.

You say that like it's a bad thing.

Now...that's just adjusting on the Alabama fudging on wins and losses.

You have 11 - 16 claimed is bullshite. You lost to the two teams in different years you claim a title over. What kind of bullshite is that?

There are schools that don't feel the need to make up national titles to teams they lost to or go back in time and use a computer program to win some national title.

If you're not miserable (don't invent championships). Accept who you are...don't exaggerate to a crazy degree where nobody but the own fanbase believes your bullshite...about 15-19 whatever nonsense championships.

I mean Notre Dame could claim 25 National Titles - but they have some honour. But if you looked it up, Notre Dame could easily claim the most. BUt they don't tack on retro bullshite or teams they lost to.

And Yale - 27 National Titles
Championship Seasons: 1872, 1874, 1876, 1877, 1879, 1880, 1881, 1882, 1883, 1884, 1886, 1887, 1888, 1891, 1892, 1893, 1894, 1895, 1897, 1900, 1901, 1902, 1905, 1906, 1907, 1909, 1927

Princeton - 28 National Titles
Championship Seasons: 1869, 1870, 1872, 1873, 1874, 1875, 1877, 1878, 1879, 1880, 1881, 1884, 1885, 1886, 1889, 1893, 1894, 1896, 1898, 1899, 1903, 1906, 1911, 1920, 1922, 1933, 1935, 1950

So why so insecure? If you're so great? Why make shite up?

Annnnnd just like like MIB changes thread from rich Rod to Alabama. And not just Alabama, but adds in Yale and Princton and the topic to claimed National championships.

Always so hard to stay within the original topic.

Appears Norvell made the right call in taking that job at Memphis last year.
