That's about what they did last year. If it's only going to make them 3 or 4 wins better, what's the point of giving bosh all that money?

Lol sorry Wiggins, instead of playing with Lebron, we are shipping you to Minnesota. That would be a kick in the pants

Hey wiggins, you're the number 1 pick congratulations
Hey wiggins you're gonna get to play with and learn from LeBron James till he retires. All while being on National TV for 80% of your games.
Hey wiggins, nvm about that. Enjoy Minnesota. We'll remember you exist in 5 or so years when your rookie contract is about to be up.

Didn't Wade lose out on 40 million by opting out? That sucks

Pat Riley is playing with house money in the game of life. He's never in the loser category. Successful coach and GM and one of the all-time greats of the game. He can walk away If he wants with zero damage to his legacy.

Yep. All the rings.

And guess what? Riley will win another title.

winers:

1) far and away #1 is the city of cleveland and that turd that owns the team. no amount of idiocy will go unrewarded if your name is dan gilbert
2) probably lebron - rehabs his image with his home town and with any of the casual nba fans who don't loathe him too much to change

chris bosh will land softly if he takes the obvious deal in houston - they still have to clear the room but that should happen somehow

wade did lose some money in this whole deal - the two rings were probably worth it to his legacy tho - he's now tied with larry bird for titles
pat riley made the wrong sales pitch with the "going get tough" line in his press conference but he doesn't lose too much when he did build the team and added two more rings to his fingers.

carmello will be interesting unless i've missed an obvious development. it seems like he has to choose between more money in NY and winning more in chicago

This is the team that will win a championship first so I'd have to go with them.

As a pels fan I reallllllly wish he would have waited another couple of days. LBJ saved Morey's arse
As a Rockets fan I say "don't hate." He was not going to leave Bosh out in the cold like that.

Perhaps. But they would still be 3rd or 4th in the West. Depends what they do with the bench

They're probably the best team in the West with Bosh.

No, not with the D-League bench they will be forced to have.
