As long as the pick play is run right, it’s unstoppable. You can’t penalize it. It has to be sold, though.

The NFL simply needs to have a rule that states in the redzone you cannot run a pick play even if it occurs within 1 yard of the line of scrimmage.

You can definitely penalize it. Without a penalty, it is nearly impossible to defend. Requires a switch.
