Which team rises to contend for a Super Bowl?

A lot of hype surrounds the Oakland Raiders and Jacksonville Jaguars after FA and their draft class.

Both teams seem to have an up and coming QB and possibly with new additions an above average defense.

The Vikings went 11-5 this year, but I feel like their ceiling is similar to the Chiefs. They would be my first choice, but my guess is none of these teams.

Maybe the Ravens cause they have been there before.

Jacksonville.

I really think bortles takes a big step forward this year, and their draft was very solid to shore up the defense. I expect them to win the division

Jags
Raiders
Vikings
Dolphins
Titans
Ravens
Chargers

Tie between the Raiders and Jacksonville. Do like what the new GM for the Titans has done though.

They did and it was a surprise to many... however, it seems the talking heads are down on them and again have GB above them because of Rodgers.

Bridgewater doesn't seem like a bad QB and maybe he eventually breaks through and leads them further.

Hard to base things off potential even though Tennessee, Oakland and Jacksonville have done terrific jobs building their teams

The problem with all three teams is for their qbs to remain consistent, healthy and win games in the fourth quarter... Of all those teams I think Jacksonville has the easiest road to accomplishing that but they need bortles to get much better to win a super bowl

My Vikes need a more established OLine before i think they will contend.

And a gotdamn kicker.

Of these teams, I think the Vikings probably have the best chance.

That team is pretty well stocked, they just need Teddy to take a few steps which he may or may not have in him.

I really like the potential of Jacksonville and Oakland. We'll see if they can get it done. I don't see them as serious superbowl contenders in the next 1-2 seasons but I think a couple more building block years could put them in a really good position.

SD Is going to continue to fail IMO. Same with Miami. 8-8 type teams.

I am not feeling it on the Titans. I like what they've done but I just don't believe in Mariota. I think he pulls an RG3 this season.

Jacksonville needs a better offensive line...
Raiders as well....

I know both of these teams tried to address that but Tunsil for either team would have dramatically improved them imo.

See I could make the argument for both because of how young they are and the salary cap for both of these teams. I mean Jacksonville plays in a horrible division really they have a good young QB, they have a solid receiving corps, decent RB, and if the offensive line improves that offense can finish top 10. The defense is adding two top 10 picks, a stud defensive lineman, and they were not horrible last year. I really think they could finish with a top 10 offense and top 15 defense.

The guy just had one of the best rookie seasons for a QB like ever and was absurdly accurate in the red zone. He is by far the least of anyone's worries in Nashville.

Ravens should have a much better record this year. They were decimated by injuries and we're still in every game last year.

Not really because of how accurate he was on the short and intermediate stuff. That is just so make or break for QB's in the NFL. He needs to get better at the deeper throws where a lot of his issues came from, but it isn't like he doesn't have the arm strength to get better at it.

Almost 70% on passes 10 yards of less but drops to 57% on passes 11-20 yards and 23% on passes 21 or longer.... Now I do not feel like going through every QB to see how they rate but it tells me he is the perfect West Coast QB

Would also just make sense given what he grew up playing for him to have some growing pains. Was never really a pocket QB, so he has issues taking longer drops and staying in the pocket longer for those type of plays to develop.

Didn't help that his protection was so damn dreadful.

Not sure how much better it will be this year though... I mean they drafted Conklin early but how much will that improve the overall line? Warmack they have no faith in, Lewan they have no faith in, I mean 3/5 of offensive line is really up in the air.

They also signed Ben Jones from Houston. From what I have seen there is hope that not picking up Warmack's option will serve as a wake up call for him and that playing next to someone like Conklin will help him play better. He hasn't been bad, but he has definitely not been top 10 draft pick good.

They like Lewan, I just think they possibly liked Tunsil better for a bit. Lewan's pretty good, just has to eliminate the dumbass penalties.
