"They said I couldn't get a scholarship"

4-star

Most four stars don't get scholarships

He exaggerated a ton in that commercial. People said he couldn't play QB in the NFL and stuff, but all of that other stuff? Not really.

During his freshman year in HS they told him to play tight end. He went to Nease (Him and his mom moved to St. Augustine) to play QB.

Yes, he was a 5 star QB coming out of high school but people still doubted he could throw the ball. Said he a glorified QB. Even after his freshman year in college, he was being compared to Dan Kendra because he didn't really throw the ball that much that year. He was a battering ram.

Of course, everyone and their mom said he couldn't be an NFL QB.

So there you go... Answers.

It really has been been one thing after the next for him.

Can't be a high school QB... Ok, you're a QB in high school, Doesn't mean you'll be a good one in college.

So what? You won a heisman, now go win a championship.

Ok... So what you won a championship and you're a great college QB but you'll never be an NFL QB.

THose are reps of 185 pounds. He has a check mark next to all of his measurements which means they were all verified. Being 217 pounds its not as hard to rep that out as you would think. Tebow is also a workout freak--he broke florida's squat record as a sophmore and would workout with the lineman

185 38 times is HARD for any 17 year old.....I dont care how much they weigh.

gay commercial. Yea all those doubters considering you had SEC schools fighting for your sig.

also a little early to be gloating about your NFL success don't you think Tim?

So because some one some where said that, it proves he had doubters? Same could be said for Vince Young and scores of others in that case.

Tim Tebow is a lot of things a "rudy" type success story is not one of them.

Regardless of your opinion of Tebow, you have to respect the guy's work ethic. I watched that documentary and the guy gives 100% to get better. You have to respect that.

I have to say I hated Tebow just as much as the next guy, but it was mainly because I knew he was bringing it 100% every snap in every game. I respect the hell out of his game and work ethic. I cant find a single reason to dislike the guy as a person. As a football player the only reason I hated him was because he didn't play for LSU.

Exactly. You do know what a doubter is right?

Yep. That doesn't make tebow any less doubted that he could do things that he eventually did
