There is one tier for true title contenders in 2015/16

Warriors, Spurs, Cavs, Thunder, Clippers (in this exact order)

I wonder if you would have listed the Warriors in tier 1 last preseason...

Utah is better than Milwaukee and Utah maaybe can sneak into the 8 seed.

I actually can agree with this. I just based it on who I think could win a series or not in the playoffs

in all seriousness, do you think the bulls, bucks, and wiz are contenders but the hawks arent?

Just more of a wait and see on the Hawks right now. See how they replace Carroll.

I just have a better feel on a lot of the other teams at the moment.

I wish as much as the next guy. Unfortunately, I don't like the way we've built around AD. Solid roster with a bonafide star that will keep us in 6-9 seed purgatory for awhile. Worst place to be in the NBA.

I agree with those except OKC is a ? for me. New coach & injuries playing a factor in it, but they could easily get back to form & be at top 4 seed.

Barring injury the Warriors, Cavs, or Spurs will be the team to win it.

Bucks will also be interesting. I could see them gelling & bring a dangerous team come playoff time. They'll be a contender sooner than later if they keep that core

UTA arguably has the top 3 players out of them and MIL in Hayward, favors, and gobert. You could maybe throw Monroe in there i think it comes down to preference between him and favors.

To be fair, the Clippers through 4 games against Houston looked like they would be a title contender if they had a real bench. That starting lineup is one of the best in the league.

For everyone picking Washington, they won 46 games in the east. Do people really think they are better than even the 8th seed in the west? Lol clueless fricks

Warriors, spurs, cavs
Clippers, bulls, rockets
Memphis, Washington, Miami
Pels, hawks, bucks, jazz, dallas, raptors, magic

The last group I don't really think has a chance but I do believe they will be the other playoff teams in the east and west after the 3 tiers.

Cavs
Bulls
Wizards
Heat
Hawks
Bucks
Raptors
Magic

Spurs
Warriors
Clippers
Rockets
Thunder
Pels
Jazz
Mavericks

Might sneak in
Suns
Lakers

when there are 10 teams in the West that are better than you, you have no shot at winning a title. Because, well, you have to play the West.

Why I didn't have an Eastern conference team in my Tier 2. They got pretty close to being able to playing a banged up Cavs team in the conference finals if Wall doesn't get hurt.

Young backcourt that could keep improving.

Not sure what has to do with anything. They had the Hawks on the ropes before their ASG starting PG got hurt.
