These Lakers will go down as the least talented and least impressive champion ever.

Very uninspiring roster from top to bottom and generally not a fun team to watch imo.

Bottom 5, yes. I can probably put them ahead of last years raptors, and some of those spurs teams. Having a hard time finding any others though. I can even probably give you the lebron cavs team too.

Nah. LeBron being on the team invalidates that take, but it’s one of the weaker teams to win a title in the last few years.

They look like they aren’t a good team because we got so used to the all time great Warriors.

I will say that this covid shutdown was the best thing that could’ve happened to the Lakers for winning a title though. LeBron got several months off mid season to just rest up and come back and dominate. I’m not sure what it would’ve looked like if they had to grind straight through, but everybody got an off-season and that benefits the best player who’s a little older now.

if anything it had a negative impact on lebron considering how he was just getting reved up for the postseason right as everything blew up, had to shut down for months, then had to get going again

With the Heat injuries it's all but over.
Same way the Raptors benefited from the Warriors injuries.

Lakers were the best team all year.
Their path was pretty easy though.
Did not face Clippers and Bucks flamed out as usual.
Did not have to go through the road venues which does make it tougher.
Warriors were decimated due to injury and Nets were as well.

It's more legit than baseball since NBA played basically a full season but the wait to start back up wasn't ideal. They probably could've started the bubble back in end of May and all this would be over by now.

I think football is headed for a mess. They are going to have more positive cases and unlike baseball they can't play doubleheaders and they don't have enough bye weeks built into the schedule. Plus you are gonna have unfair advantages with Steelers and Titans off now for a week.

Not a chance. At this point in LeBron’s career, being able to rest for several months and then slowly ramping back up to shape with a meaningless regular season bubble was the perfect storm for LeBron.

We also didn't get our home court throughout the postseason

I don't like how they've screwed up next season either.
I'm guessing the Olympics will be a rag tag group as most will opt out.
