There's a player older than Jayson Tatum in the NCAA Tournament

Howard's 8th year senior Seth Towns who has a degree from Harvard, a Masters from Ohio State and is now working on a PhD.
Even with the COVID year, I'm surprised there was a way to play 7 more years after you first entered college.

No shite sherlock, but usually you have 5 years to play 4 years.
Your clock starts the second you step on campus. This involves some weird case of three medical redshirts, which I didn't know was allowed, plus taking a year off which I'm assuming is where the COVID year comes in.

Probably thought that because Paul Blake and Andre Simm were able to play one more year for the Armadillos when they were in their 40’s
