I am rarely on the Vamos pain train, but will be totally cool with Rafa winning La Decima. Hopefully, Thiem, Zverev, and Novak can make things interesting. The women's side is a mess. It has to eat up Sharapova that she probably had a good chance to win this thing if she could have qualified.

At least we wont have to watch Droopy Dog after his first match.

Isn't Nadal on a roll again? I believe he won Barcelona and Madrid this year?

Big John just made the semis in Rome and actually plays well on clay because it gives him time to set up to hit the ball, he can handle high bounces, and his serve jumps off the court. He won a couple of sets from Rafa in the first round one year. Rafa rolled through Monte Carlo, Barcelona, and Madrid, but did lose in Rome last week.

Ugh Bunk stop doing that to me I was hoping I could go through a Major without just having semi-irrational hate on Droopy Dog.

But when he goes into quitters mode, then it is a hate that is justified.

Hope we have the cocky CoCo not the puking in the corner CoCo

Siegemund is out, and I'm seeing Halep is 50/50 to play. WTA is even more of a mess than usual.

Has anyone seen Rafa with better odds than -110 anywhere?

I don't know who this bobbyray guess is, but he must have been really cool, and I bet he had a massive penis too.

Everybody knows Rafa is my homeboy and so I usually proceed with active restraint in making positive predictions about his chances, so as not to apply a jinx of some kind.

And with all that being said, I will be surprised if he doesn't win this thing. Who, even on their best day, can beat him right now? If we're talking a three set match, there are maybe five guys: Djoker, Thiem, Fognin.....hold on, is that it? Who am I missing? And, no, Zverev ain't happening. Maybe Goffy?

And so take that as your starting point, and then ramp it up to best of 5. I'm sorry, but I just don't see him taking an L this fortnight. I hope I am right because, you know, he's like my homeboy and stuff.

Having zero knowledge of who is playing well/shitty right now on the vagina side, I proceed by default in thinking Muguruza wins it. She's just the best clay court player, and by a decent margin imho.

I'd like to see Halep win it, though. I like Simona even though she doesn't give me movement.

I have not:

Even money on a player to win a major is a silly play as a general matter, but I'm tempted -- so tempted in fact that I already did it -- to take Rafa. For reasons noted in a previous post.

Also, I would bet my life on The Field at -450 if only my life were worth more.

Does anyone have a decent list of RG futures? 5D only had the two I already posted. Scores and odds has the below, but scores and odds on tennis is far from accurate:
