I know you are being facetious, but that score wouldn't look any different this year as it did last year. I thought they were a little overhyped last year and played a weak schedule. Maybe they will be better this year.

Losing the d1 linemen they lost will be tough to replace.....

Those don't grow in trees. An their non d1 guys in the trenches were pretty good too...

Games are won and lost in the trenches.....

The list of great players who's teams lost to Curtis and some badly is long and distinguished

The great early season scheduling JT has done recently makes this guys very sharp in the playoffs. It's pretty tough once again this year too.

Week 2 they come to Hahnville again.....they won 7-5 on basically the last play of the game last year but they don't have Valdin there anymore to hand it to them.

But you're a Rummel fan. Byrd was clearly hosed as Rummel's last TD should've been a touchback.
Was it a missed call? Yes. However, that call is not made 99.999999999% of the time in High school football since there isnt a review. Hard for me to say it is tainted or they got hosed

Me too, but they play games @ East St. John, @ Hville, Acadiana at home, and @ Catholic.

They will most certainly be battle tested come playoffs.

I see win, win, close loss, win. ESJ has talent but lack discipline. Hahnville will be implementing a new system. Acadiana may be a top national team by the end of the year. Catholic coaching might be worst in D1.

True but could still use some work. And to add from before, I think Rummel will score on Acadiana but just get worn down. Also, Catholic was so much bigger than Rummel last year, I had to laugh at the score. I was there and remember Catholic looking like a deer in headlights. Heads were "spinning" if you will. Catholic really needs a new coach.

Yep, Catholic of BR is a sleeping giant when it comes to football. Huge student base, wealthy alumni base...some good coaches & good support from the top could make them a huge force EVERY year.

Same thing can be said of Jesuit of N.O.

Not the same IMO. Catholic has allowed certain kids to come to their school who definitely wouldn't have made it on grades. Jesuit doesn't have near the athletes Catholic does. Also, many kids who could be great athletes simply don't want to deal with the amount of busy work Jesuit gives their students. There are too many options here in NOLA for school unlike BR.
