Eliminate the committee
Go back to the early 2000s BCS formula where strength of schedule and margin of victory matters.
Stay with Top 4 playoff
Unfortunately, this won't ever happen because the biz of NCAA football revolves around pointless rankings/bullshite and the commentary/backlash that comes with it.

Yep. Been saying that the 4 team playoff was a great idea....but then eliminating the BCS in favor of a human committee was a terrible idea

You do realize that every year we have the CFB playoff it had the exact teams the BCS would have had. The seeding was a little different, but the teams were a match

It would have been better to just keep the freakin BCS rankings and use them to pick the top 4. Human element was stupid.

this is what happens when you have retards like alvarez,Long, Willingham,etc on the committee.
These jackasses, especially the coaches couldn't fill out their own coaches ballots, because of laziness back when the Coaches poll mattered, so you give them Full Control now?

You're right that it's broken but you're talking about the wrong system
The problem is that Bama is able to exist and nothing can stop them. This playoff is a farce, no one can beat them. They have more talent, the best coaches, everything. They're going to win forever until we fundamentally change the sport to be more fair. It doesn't matter what system the postseason is because Bama will win it every time until Saban dies

its pretty clear the playoffs weren't needed this year but there is more money involved now with the playoffs added in. So they won't change this format.. if anything they'll expand the playoffs which would be retarded.
College Football is selling out some IMO.
that's one of the reasons I don't like it as much as I use to.
At least we'll get to see the best two teams play for the championship.
