Ok then why are all you guys bringing up how the sec was always overrated the past years? I don't see any sec guys saying we were the best this season

Because all year long we have heard how you were sending two to the playoffs and deserved to send 3.

That shite got old...and you got your shite shoved in this week.

When you act like an a-hole all the time expect people to celebrate when karma kicks you in the balls.

Bad coaching all the way around has hurt the conference this year ..It looks like all these coaches went to the les miles school on how to lose bowl games..

So sec fans are the ones who made the rankings throughout the year when they had 3 of the top 5 teams? And it wasn't just sec people talking about...

Any conference would be saying the same if they have 3 of the top 5 teams halfway through the year

My personal opinion is 2003-2011 is the bell curve of SEC dominance

an unbelievable run to be sure, but it wasn't about the players or area it was about the coaches

Meyer and Saban were almost all of that run. Now it's just Saban and the coaching in the SEC has become worse.

There's some merit to that. Things are cyclical. Trash talking aside, I don't think anybody expected the SEC to dominate through mid century or anything.

Meyer is in Ohio, the (possible next) best college coach evah is heading to Ann Arbor and while Saban is still Saban, you have to wonder how much of that intensity he can hold onto with each passing year. He's already a god in T-town.

Beyond that, it isn't like the SEC is a hotbed of superior coaching. They still hold a definite edge in recruiting but for how long?

Any conference in America would love to "swim in that bullshite" so don't act like it's just one conference that would be that way

Coaches send players to the NFL.

I haven't seen many first rounders out of Miami since butch Davis left, or USC without Carroll and so forth

There are a lot of black kids in the Midwest, the south isn't special in this regard

Miles has sent tons of players to the league and people don't think highly of him. Georgia sends plenty to the league, Florida still has as we'll, etc.

Are we talking just first rounders? Because Miami and USC have still sent plenty of guys to the NFL

I think its funny because a few people really did get caught up in the SEC fanboy bullshite.

they needed this to help them maybe remember to what it feels like to root for your own team and against your rivals.

that is one of the reasons college football had started to suck in my opinion.

whether it was all show for the message board people or just being a people pleaser in real life... it needed to stop.

My dad and brother were big on it. I always gave them shite about it forever until seeing Bama in the playoffs broke them.
