Interesting only UNC Wisc Louisville and WVU ranked in both football and bball. Usually it's around 10 with teams like MSU Ohio State Florida Oklahoma Oregon UCLA often ranked in both

Baylor plays #3, 5, and #7 all at home this year. Hoping we can take 1/3 down.

This kid can ball. He's the freshmen I'm most looking forward to see play this season.

Not really since they lost 3 big players for them that started.

I think they will end up in the NCAAT but not being ranked is right.

The quality win over SMU is not going to happen, as it will just be an ehh win. SMU has a tough schedule if you think about it though

Boise
Pitt
USC
Bakersfield (NIT Semi)

The usual punks Delaware St Eastern Michigan and TCU are on the schedule also. The AAC is good basketball league but very top heavy.

Syracuse should be higher

Agreed, but I'm biased . We get UNC in chapel hill, Duke at home and our home/aways are against Boston college, louisville and georgia tech. Only games that really scare me are @ louisville, @ wisconsin, @ unc, and @ pitt. Pitt always plays syracuse tough, good ole big east matchup

and we also return a decent amount of key contributors. if we were a big name program, wed absolutely be ranked and probably in the top 15

Just goes to show you how weak the SEC is. Only one team in the top 25 (UK) and I don't think this will be one of those dominant UK teams like 2012 and 2015.

Kentucky is the odds on favorite to win the league (as they should be), but I think the league is wide open

The Basketball writers and coaches do such a better job on these polls. So I do not think they would be.

Ted Kapita (top 60 recruit)

I now know 1000% that NC State is cheating their arse off because that is the only way you got this idiot in school.

they are sleeping on the SEC at this point. Florida, Arkansas, A and M and Georgia all have really really solid teams this year

No. 9 Wisconsin

Awesome trio that includes Nigel Hayes, Bronson Koenig, and Ethan Happ.

Koenig spent the summer in Los Angeles training with Corey Calliet. Wisconsin's first practice open to the media, Koenig was routinely ripping baseline and dunking the ball.

Travis Trice's younger brother, D'Mitrik, might crack the rotation as a true freshman. Another name to look out for is Andy Van Vliet. Wasn't part of the Wisconsin rotation in their exhibition on Sunday, but the kid is supremely skilled. Sat out last season after the NCAA ruled him ineligible.

On paper, this is a very good team.
