How the hell is David Johnson not in the top 10? That's ridiculous. He's the most dynamic player in the entire league.

This would have been my list of the top 10:

1. Tom Brady, QB - New England Patriots
2. Khalil Mack, DE - Oakland Raiders
3. Julio Jones, WR - Atlanta Falcons
4. Von Miller, LB - Denver Broncos
5. Antonio Brown, WR - Pittsburgh Steelers
6. Aaron Rodgers, QB - Green Bay Packers
7. Matt Ryan, QB - Atlanta Falcons
8. Odell Beckham Jr., WR - New York Giants
9. Le'Veon Bell, RB - Pittsburgh Steelers
10. Ezekiel Elliot, RB - Dallas Cowboys

Elliot in there with ONE year?

Dak at 14 with ONE year?

Can't say it's based just off of play last year when guys like Peterson and JJ Watt made the list.

Give me sustained success, which is why Brees should be top 10

If I tell those NFL players voting that they have 1 season to play and your life depends on it, every last one of you are taking Rodgers over the other 4 guys.

Rodgers is #1 or #2, nowhere else.

I was fine with most of the top half of the list but these two were just outrageous.

Dak being ahead of guys like AJ Green, Big Ben, and Brees is just stupid. He's a good player but he walked in to an absolutely ideal situation in Dallas.

Zeke is good but he's not better than Bell. He's not a better player OBJ. He's not better than Aaron Rodgers or Eric Berry.

Wild.

I agree, but didn't feel like striking up that debate lol.

But I did want to make it clearly that those 4 ahead of him, no one in their right mind would actually take over him if you had a 1 year draft for 2017.

If Elliot does this again, then I am fine with him being top 10

That's just too small of a sample size for me to say he's one of the 10 best in the league. Dak at 14 is fricking absurd to me.

Do we know when the Players voted?

I'm guessing the offseason. The QB rankings reflect team success more than any other position. People forget how good Aaron Rodgers was down the stretch. What would the rankings be if Atlanta didn't blow their lead?

Would M. Ryan be higher than 10 if he had a SB victory?
Would Brady still be #1 with another SB loss?
How far would Dak fall with the same stats, but the Cowboys were 9-7 last year?

Probably not but the I could still see it.

Not top 50.

Yeah, a lot of it has to do with recency bias

This isn't 2004.

Mack is the best pure all-around player in football right now.

Yes, a non-QB can still be the best player in football.

He deserves it solely for this:

He single-handedly beat back the worst celebration rule in sports. Cheers to him.
