the training camp really drives it home how much better the united states is at basketball over the rest of the world. this is without a doubt our b team, but even then we still have: a MVP, a combined 24 all nba teams, a combined 5 scoring champs, and a combined 8 all defense teams

but what really makes the seperation is our select team. on it we have a combined 9 all rookie teams and 22 first round draft picks

no other country in the world could have a B team and then a select team to practice and develop like this. is there any other similar situation in the world? where one country is as far ahead of the rest of the competition?

Well considering that of the major sports (if you include various versions and early iterations) basketball is the newest and created in the US...how is it crazy?

My definition:

Crazy - Something that doesn't describe the gap between the US and the rest of the world in basketball

because there arent many other examples of a single country being this dominant in a sport?
