It may not come in the regular season, but this team will flop in the postseason as per usual. Quinn may be a top 5-10 coach but it doesn’t matter. No Georgia sports team is going to go on a reign in which they are a dynasty or a constantly dominating team. It’s time that we just accept this. It’s been that way for the last 40+ years.

The only way in which it doesn’t happen is if a team gets an absolutely perfect situation. 3 HOF pitchers (and even still that leads to just 1 WS) or Herschel Walker. For the Falcons they need a ton more than this situation. Another dominating WR, two outstanding RBs, and a completely revamped defense.

Even still, they would somehow manage to figure out a way to fail in a ridiculous way before getting to the Super Bowl. They would be driving for the win in the NFCCG and have a wild snap with time running out to blow the game. Or their Mr. Automatic FG kicker blows an easy FG to end the game.

So they have a really good team, but might not win the SB. Sweet prediction.

From a Bucs fan, get the frick out.

So it will never happen...then you give two instances of it happening.

Falcons are a good team. Of course a JJ injury will make them an average team, although, you could say that with most teams when their star player is out. Defense looks good and I would say maybe their Oline is suspect but look good today run blocking.

I had em winning the division before the season started.

Not sure how deep they'll go in the playoffs.

Let's let him coach a few years before anointing him. You find out if a coach with early success is the truth around year 3-4

Maybe I wouldn't be as much of a Debbie Downer if any Georgia teams won something significant recently.

Remember when they scored like 8000 points against Tampa Bay last year and Falcons fans crowned their arse?

It's happened before. Remember the Mattie Deuce game? 24-2 to the Giants in the playoffs. How about the year before when they had the Packers at home and didn't force a punt all game, 48-21

Those were both super bowl champions fwiw

And the Falcons aren't that good, but still kinda good . Will almost certainly make the playoffs and lose (potentially badly) and this guy will probably bump this stupid thread.

I don't think anyone thinks they are super bowl good or anything

Actually, it's not inconceivable if the Seahawks haven't dug themselves too deep a hole. Green Bay/McCarthy have proven their best teams can be beaten in January. Arizona's not going to score 40 a game every week. Dallas has injuries. Carolina doesn't scare anyone in the postseason.
