I just drool at the thought of sets where JT is in the shotgun and has Braxton on one side

I think this is Braxton's best shot at getting drafted..He is for sure a good enough Athlete to play at the next level..just not at QB

We will see how stubborn he is when it comes to wanting to play QB because if that is really what he wants to be he needs to go somewhere else

Maybe I am mistaken and looking into this too far, but he looks miserable all the time. I know he is a pretty even keel type of guy, but damn he looks depressed every time they show him. He also doesn't seem like has been there to help JT/Cardale on the sidelines during the games. Maybe what I have seen of him has been out of context though, so I don't know.

With all that said, I just don't see him being a Buckeye next year. I also hope that if he does stay, that we don't play this wildcat bullshite. I don't want Braxton taking snaps from Cardale/JT.

He is a competitor..No way in hell he is honestly really happy for how well JT and Cardale have played in his absence

Not much upside for Cardale to come back

There is a ton of upside, he could work himself into a first or second round pick. He wasn't going to go in the first two rounds of this year's draft.

I'm not entirely certain of that.

That is fine, but he can be more of a team player, like it appears JT is trying to be.

I know Braxton brought us a tremendous amount of succcess, but I think it is just time to move on. Playing bullshite wildcat isn't doing that.

What in the actual F are you talking about? Have you never been on a sports team even in little league?

I had teammates at OSU who went on to the Olympic Games and won medals. I was competitive as all hell with them during the 2-4 years we shared, but I was also happy as hell for them when they made the US team.

He could honestly be extremely happy for how they did. That is different than wanting to be the man next year

What are you talking about? Two completely different scenarios. You didn't get hurt and have to take a back seat to underclassmen. You were a gymnast/swimmer? which is cool and all but completely different than Braxton's situation.

Braxton Miller among thousands of OSU Graduates

quote:

COLUMBUS (Kate Murphy) -- Congratulations to the thousands of new college graduates from The Ohio State University.

The Schottenstein Center was full Sunday afternoon with friends and family helping celebrate the graduating class. Among the graduating members was Buckeye quarterback Braxton Miller.

Coach Urban Meyer tweeted a picture of Miller with teammate Evan Spencer from the commencement ceremony. The tweet said, "Set for life after football."

Miller says he plans to recover from his shoulder injury and go on to graduate school where he will continue to play football.

History professor and alumnus David Steigerwald was chosen to deliver the commencement address.

Ohio State University says they expect to hand out even more diplomas during the Spring 2015 graduation.

Really, "Bumfrick Columbus"? It's a major city and a nice place compared to Gainesville. Maybe try venturing out once in a while.

Seriously? Nobody gets injured and then cheers against their own teammates unless they are a complete douche. I don't know what kind of teams you were part of, but that's not usually how it works.

Just because he wants to transfer doesn't mean that he was unhappy that those guys played well. With the amount of time they spent together, chances are they are friends.

I'm sure he wanted the team to win and do well but put yourself in his shoes.

2 time B1G player of the year. Buckeye staff and fans love ya. You get hurt and JT and Cardale step in and outperform anything you ever did on the field and all the sudden the coaches and fans could give 2 shits if you stay or go. I'm sure he is just excited about the whole situation

Part of the reason this is such an issue is because the coaching staff was recuriting with the anticipation that Braxton would be gone at the end of this year.

Joe Burrow committed before the year. I doubt he comes to campus in the fall. He will go elsewhere. Coupled with that apparently he doesn't like Tim Beck from his Nebraska visits.

Urban is an a-hole for pulling this, Cardale just screwed himself big time.

He was free to make his own choice.

And I don't believe this "report" for a second

ETA: If this was LSU and this was on the rant, this is whacked within seconds.

I don't care LSU or not LSU, its pretty obvious in most situations what's best for these kids when they have maximized their earning potential at the collegiate level and when they need to gtfo. Urban Meyer doesn't give two lickity dicks about cardale's nfl's future or earnings potential. but its all so great cause he's going to get his education so he can get that 60k a year job waiting on him.

It's not like Urban made his stay. If he wanted to go to the NFL, he could have gone. I don't see how you can put this on the head coach. He's 22 years old and has shown he's a grown arse man.

GTFO with the fact that Urban hoodwinked him.

And the reason I brought up LSU was the fact that this "rumor" if you can even call it that is being substantiated on an LSU message board. That alone is a major LOL. Followed up with the fact that this should even still be a thread here. It's unsubstantiated rumor.
