That Scotland squad is coming to Houston to play team USA, in June I think the Eagles have a chance!

Would be a huge win for the future of USA rugby! Let's see how Scotland look in the Six Nations come February. For as bad as they look now they did reasonably well in the Six Nations this year. France after all is the team that won the wooden spoon.

To give a quick recap....this past weekend, stayed at the Shelbourne in Dublin where the Irish team stays and got to meet some of the players...it is so amazing that these guys are not huge when compared to american football players...but they were all nice and approachable...

As for the game

The defense was terrible for Ireland...and man did the old guys look old...O'Driscoll, O'Connell, Ross, etc....it was sad...

I can only imagine what NZ is going to do to them this weekend...but I will be there cheering and praying for a miracle

The All Blacks are 0-1 when I have seen them live

It's probably be impossible to have enough cardio condition to stay on the field for 80 minutes if they were that big.

Gonzo went back to the Quins. No real surprise there honstly. I think Butters was moving to Texas to be closer to family. Butters and I have Shreveport ties so just talked him into playing with the Griffins. Pulled Kevin Wiggins too from Wilmington but that proved to be too wild of stallion and he ended up going back to Deleware.

For the SEC fans out there, looks like Kenny Irons has decided to play for Old White. He'll see the field in out B side against that other team on Saturday.

That's pretty cool. Hopefully the trend of former college football players switching to rugby continues. I have to believe that will really help grow the sport not just in terms of athletes on the field but in public awareness of the sport.

Do away with the Soccer Board and replace it with a Rugby Board.

Definitely helps getting former football players into rugby.

Anybody have any insight as to why it is not a NCAA sport? With women's rugby being big as well, you get past the Title IX stuff. I think this is the biggest hurdle right now in getting rugby mainstream.

My original proposal for what to do after the WC was to make the board a "European Sports Board" to deal with soccer, rugby, Aussie rules, etc.

The board does sometimes have rugby and Aussie-rules talk.

he still shows as CIPP'ed with you guys.

So explain to me your team name...I keep calling you Frisco, but apparently yall moved to Allen? So are you the Allen Griffins or just Griffins Rugby?

Do Aussie rules qualify as European Sport?

It's not a bad idea and would get more traffic for that board but I'm not sure the Soccer fans would like.

Havent checked the CIPP list in awhile but I could have sworn that he switched his CIPP during the Texas Cup competition. Ive been hearing that the Quins are not very organized right now and only took 17 players to Tulsa this past weekend.

We were in Frisco for a couple of years, playing in the FC Dallas complex but we kept getting dicked around with field reservations and prices so we moved to Allen (who have been great to us). We dropped Frisco from our name and just go by Griffins Rugby now.
