How many times do you think we strikeout tonight with that lineup? I say the over/under is 8. Any takers?

Over. Way over. I'm thinking something like 12 or 13.

Since there's a collective feeling that the bravea are awful I bet we put up 10+ runs tonight. Tonight is the night is the night....

Career Splits vs. Left Handed Pitching:
Heyward:
PA: 322
OPS: .688
OBP: .323
HR: 8
2B: 11
Francisco:
PA: 27
OPS: .415
OBP: .222
HR: 0
2B: 0
Heyward also has a BABIP (batting average on balls in play) of .276 compared to .333 for Francisco, indicating that Francisco has been somewhat lucky against lefties and you can expect his OBP to decrease while Heyward's should increase. Average BABIP is about .300 for hitters and players are expected to regress toward this norm. This is all pretty nerdy but I'm bored before gametime.
This moment in great managerial decisions brought to you by Fredi Gonzalez.
ETA: I realize it's a small sample size for Francisco but I just wanted to illustrate the Frediocy.

27 PAs is a massive sample size compared to what Fredi has indicated he plans on basing his "feeling" about Francisco on.
I just pray that he doesn't go 4-4 or something. Heyward would be relegated to platoon duty all season.

It might be small, but it's pretty consistent with his minor league numbers where he has a significant split between righties and lefties.
I've been reading sites here and there today after this line up was posted. It is a pretty strong collective feeling among the internet Braves fans that we have the dumbest/worst manager in baseball.

This is the scariest part about it imo.
