They must have researched it with engineers and figured it wouldn't be an issue to build there. But yes, that seems less than ideal. However, finding that much land in that area is probably crazy expensive and hard to come by.

Damn. Hitting one out in Bp and one off the center of the big wall in center field of the Disney complex are the high points of my career. I was hoping I would be able to take my kids and brag about that one day. Guess it just has to stay on the Internet :singletear:

I thought the Astros/Nationals facility they are building in Palm Beach County was a high price tag at $135M

This is a nicer stadium than the Rays play in

It seems like a shame they couldn't have worked something out - why not have Tampa kick in 200 million and make it 10,000 to 20,000 bigger and then that would be their stadium
