What you don't seem to understand is we realize both players are terrible. We're simply moving some money around. If one of the two turn it around, you flip them next year at the deadline. If not they're off the books after next year anyway.
Cleveland meanwhile has taken on CJ for 2 1/4 more years + the buyout for 2018 while also paying $15M of Swisher's remaining $19M.
