It just doesn't make any sense. It's illogical to not use Kimbrel first. And that's not even because he's the better pitcher.

Not using Kimbrel was dumb but honestly our relief pitchers gave us more than enough chances to win this game. We were just beyond dreadful at the plate.

We don't stand a chance of winning anything if Uggla and Mccann don't figure their shite out not to mention Janish who is an automatic out. 3 hitters where it is a success if you can manage 2 hits between them in a game.

8 LOB btw mac/ugg last night. 25 LOB total.

That's what pisses me off the most. We had 1-2 on base every fricking inning. We should have scored 8-10

Seriously, Fredi is gun shy on using Kimbrel, Venters, etc this season after the scrutiny of using them too much last season. Well this season, he took it too far the other way. There has to be a happy medium. And it's August, in a pennant race, this should be the time of year we ride our best RP as much as possible.

I love me some Huddy (no homo) but I have to say his post-game comment of "tonight the pitching was fine" well and truly pissed me off.

Yeah, Huddy, it may have been. But you still, as is your habit, gave up FOUR frickING RUNS in the FIRST frickING INNING.

I thought Uggla was starting to come around too. I think we all knew he was going to have a major drop in production before his contract was up but no one anticipated this. We can't even trade him unless we eat 3/4 of his salary.

I'm preaching to the choir here but his at-bats are just painful to watch.

I really don't get it. It doesn't look like his bat speed has fallen off like Hinske's has. He just misses every pitch by 3 or 4 inches. When he does make contact its almost inevitably a pop up.

IMO he has Andruw Jones Syndrome.

The man loves to go out and party with the sweet young things a bit too much.

This may have already been asked, but have the Barves won on Monday yet? I know they had a 0 for something streak going but with other stuff going on the past few weeks I haven't been paying real close attention to them.

a couple times.

Back to Uggla, I think he swings too hard. It legit looks likes hes trying to hurt the baseball when he goes up there. Any finesse he once had is gone. I know we joke, but "uggla smash" is exactly how he approaches every at-bat.

well maybe if they wouldn't put out for a dude hitting just over .200 he'd get his damn swing back.

The only BA those sweet young things care about is his Bank Account.

And, thanks to the Braves, those sweet young things LOVE them some Dan Uggla.
