If the Braves are serious about competing this year they need to upgrade the pen. Ian Krol should not be on a major league roster, much less in position to face Bryant/Rizzo/Contreras in a one run game.

It's not worth it to trade for relief help this year. The best they're gonna do is get in a one game playoff scenario. That's not enough to justify going for it, IMO.

I agree but the FO seems to be attempting to piece together a roster that can compete the rest of the way. I am saying if they don't sell they better upgrade the pen either internally or with some cheap trades.

Krol was really good last year but has sucked this year. We only have 3 decent guys in our bullpen right now. Building the bullpen though should be the last part of a rebuilding team. Look at how bad the Nats bullpen has been this year.
