Vaughn's bat control is elite.

I can't wait for the power to come around, he has one of the best approach's on the team.

Back to that Vaughn RBI. It's impressive as frick that a dude who is essentially a rookie put that ball exactly where it needed to be on that hit and run.

I remember hearing interviews with Chipper talking about what he was trying to teach Grissom. Chipper said his goal for Grissom for now was to try and hit fastballs up the middle and towards right, and get his homers on off speed stuff that gets hung.

That RBI single and the one that won the last game in Kansas City showed that approach is working.
