he is funny as hell, he says what he thinks, and he can take it as well as he dishes it out
plus he was an awesome basketball player who played with the same attitude he still has in the broadcast booth - listening to him invokes some nostalgia from people who enjoyed the way he played

Charles Barkely does not follow the political correctness rules that have been forced down our throats since the 1980's. He tell it like it is and he doesn't give a shite if anyone gets offended or not.
He has more truth in him than Obama and Bill Clinton ever did have. He is funny and does it with a laidback style. Charles ain't afraid of anyone or any establishment. He says what the politicians are afraid to say. You know where you stand with the round mound of rebound.
