Not saying that Warner and David don't belong in the HoF. But the fact they went over TO is complete horseshite

Bill Simmons has been melting about Terrell Davis not getting in for like an hour, and he's in apparently

Bill said TD was best running back he's ever seen. That may be the dumb comment of the decade.

Kurt Warner got in for one sole reason. He's employed by a subsidiary of the NFL

It is what it is though.

Just want to say, I said TO would not be first ballot 4 years ago.

Talent and stats say he is a first ballot HoF. But he toyed with the media his entire career while being a major distraction with 2 different teams and they are holding it against him.

TO will get into the HOF, I just think right now it's a way for the media to get back at him which isn't really fair to him.

Terrell Davis had arguably the best season a running back has ever had when considering the playoffs and Super Bowl. He absolutely deserves to be in the Hall of Fame. Some consider him the best playoff running back in history and his career was very short lived.

Terrell should have acted like a grown man while in the NFL. I enjoy them making him wait.

Oh, the irony!

Bullshite.

All his successors (with crappier QBs than like Davis had Elway) pretty much replicated what TD did to a fair facsimile.

And they were journeyman RBs half the time.

Hate to be a system guy but sometimes the facts reveal true greatness vs. team system greatness.

16 years in the NFL, Owens claim to fame is 6 pro bowls and 5X all pro. No legendary seasons or record breaking accomplishments. No post season heroics, awards and he has no rings/trophies. All he did was rack up stats for a really long time. Compare him to let's say Art Monk, who took 8 years to get in and I don't see why people think Owens is a first ballot guy.

When are both the football and baseball HOF's going to quit putting in pretty good and put it actual HOFers? Kurt Warner? He had three good years, 5 total shite years, and two more good years. What a freaking joke. Terrell Davis? Was good for what 3 or 4 years? If he'd have kept it up for 3 or 4 more then yes, he would have deserved it. Both Halls are becoming jokes.

Terrell Davis seems like a nice guy, but my God in hindsight he shouldn't be in the Hall.

He had a four year career and we now know he was a system running back.
