Jakeem Grant has to play on Sunday's. He reminds me on Darren Sporles. He would be ideal as a slot guy in the Patriots system.

Whitehouse, Texas. Just south east of Tyler.

Got to give Kliff credit on this one. He was the only P5 coach to offer him and he has been nothing short of spectacular in his first two seasons.

I don't get why LSU people bitch about the offense. They need to understand the QB has to complete passes and D not give up gash plays.

This offense is built to win, but it's a 1st year starter, they expected a an AA

Dude Harris can't compete 5 yard passes for stretches at a time. The way they run their offense, he HAS to hit the really easy throws and he's incapable of doing so sometimes. Alabama spanked LSU. If Harris has a slightly above average game, it would have been pretty damn close.

He did play well... through most of the first half, 2nd half opened with an interception the offense changed and he started pressing. Young guy who will get better and Alabama game was first real adversity this year where the game was on his shoulders.

It doesn't matter who they play the offense isn't the issue. It's the same offense that's won big. It's the QB play. Average play with solid completions is all it needs. As I have said, you run to win.

Harris has his ups and downs, but he is a football throwing machine. His accuracy is putrid at times, but he throws one of the tightest spirals you'll find with absurd velocity.

If he can improve his touch and accuracy the sky is the limit. He has all the tools.

He was 6-19 for 128 1 TD and 1 INT. Many of the throws he missed were crucial misses...as well as easy throws.

He will get better, though.

We don't give harris much of a chance to be successful

They give him one read and it's a 80 yard bomb. Kid has talent, we just need to develop a short/middle of the field offense

Every 3rd and short we have that we throw on is a massive bomb down field, and don't get me started on the awful left rollout from earlier

ETA but for all the flack he gets, he has similar stats to Metts stats in 2012 in his first year starting

this is giving the LSU faithful hope for their offense next year. as a Cubs and Tulane fan, this makes me happy.

He had an awkward throwing motion because he's a right hander that we put moving to his left on 3rd and 3. that's fricking stupid. He's a young QB, put him in easy situations to be successful, don't make it more difficult on him

True. I'm not sure if it's as bad as it's been in the past, but only sending out 2 receivers on obvious pass plays has to be tough for him. There isn't much imagination in the pass game.

It wasn't really the offense that failed LSU this year. The defense was bad at crucial times and was young.

3/9 53 yards and TD before the half with 2 recorded drops (according to play by play)
