Are there some teams that you are not fan of mostly because you never lived or grew up there but respect their organization because of their ownership or players.

For me:
NFL- Pittsburgh Steelers. Rooney family has ran a great organization, well liked in the community, and there is rarely controversy with their team on or off the field.
MLB- St. Louis Cardinals- A team that has had great ownership and the best fans in baseball.
NBA- San Antonio Spurs- Great owner, great coach, and good fans as well. That city is gaga over the team.

Agree with those three. I would also add the Broncos to the list. Pat Bowlen is one of the great underrated owners in sports history. Six Super Bowl appearances in 31 years of ownership is incredibly impressive. It seems like the Broncos make the playoffs every year and are always in the hunt.

NFL: Giants.

NBA: Mavericks. I used to hate Cuban but he doesn't bother me anymore. I respect the hell out of Dirk. Plus I love going to their games if I'm in Dallas.

MLB: Back in the day, the Oakland A's. Loved Zito/Mulder/Hudson trio.

New England - they win all the damn time and that is sort of the point.

SF Giants - don't really care for them much but they have to be the least respected 3 of 5 winner in any sport ever. Of course, really sucking hard the other 2 years doesn't help.

NFL - Patriots. Just a great system in place.

NBA - Spurs. Team basketball at its best. Fun team to watch. Selfless players that buy into a system and succeed and thrive in that system.

MLB - Yankees. As a Red Sox fan I have respect for everything they have accomplished. Baseball is much more fun when they are on top.

NHL - Calgary. No real reason, just always enjoyed watching them.

NCAA - Alabama. Tons of respect for Saban and fun to watch them. Fundamentally sound team, great D and a systematic offense. Fun team to watch. Total respect for what Saban has built.

New Orleans Saints.. Team was dead in the water until they signed the GREATEST free agent signing of all time in Drew Brees. Then signed a top five coach. After the city of New Orleans was devasted by hurricane Katrina, they won the super bowl! Pretty damn good story

NBA - Spurs

NFL - The Evil Empire (The Patriots) I like when a team is good and dominate but not well like. Reminds me of the Yankees.

NCAAF - Bama

NHL: Red Wings. A near perfect sports organization.

NBA: Spurs. Innovative while appealing to traditionalists.

NFL: Packers. Unique ownership and managed to have a major sports franchise in a small town. And win.

MLB: Tampa. They haven't won in the postseason, but with the deck stacked against them, they have built a great team by being ahead of the curve. Took anlalytics to contracts instead of talent evaluation.
