I really think we would have been in trouble today without the Manimal

Wonder if AD will have another 1 shot first half next game.
Hopefully its sinking in for our guys, what the deal is.

Get Davis out now, so I can breathe.

Or he could have passed it for a guaranteed 2 or wide open 3.

Learn basketball.
You go up one on one and either:

A: make the basket

B: make the basket and get fouled

C: get fouled

D: miss the basket and a trailing player gets the put-back.

You don't pass that up to shoot a 25 footer or possibly turn the ball over by trying to pass the ball behind you. There is no need.

Him taking the ball to the basket was perfectly acceptable basketball and wasn't selfish like you are trying to imply. It was the right play.

Is Denver still trying to unload Faried? Because we've got an Eric Gordon on clearance

Cmon man, this is no Harden or Rockets hate at all. He had two guys right next to him waiting for easy dunks and all he was looking to do was eurostep his way into a foul. Since the beginning of time, you pass that ball.

Welp. Going forward our guards just have to be smart and get the ball inside to davis and others, and attack the hoop.

Spain's still on if any of y'all have watchESPN open. They've been insanely fun to watch. Such good passing.

Davis and Faried deserve 100 percent of the credit.

This should be out hardest game until the quarterfinals, at least.

However we would lose to Spain it we play like that.

Have Harden or Kyrie run the PnR with AD all game, have Curry running the arc, and put Faried in place to rebound. That clearly works like 98% of the time.

My biggest fear playing Spain in Spain: Those guys getting into early foul trouble because we don't have the greatest bunch of perimeter defenders.

Exactly, which makes the pass ridiculously simple. Draw the defender and dump it off to either one of the really tall guys with 40 inch verticals, right behind you.

Feels like we're living in a different universe when a guy trying to draw a foul on a 4-1 fast break is supposedly the right basketball play. In no world has this ever, or will it ever, be the case.

We have a really desirable schedule though. All of the good teams are on Spain's side of the bracket. They will have tougher games than us.
