I’m not sure how it would have anything to do with him.

Evidently secret Tiger stuff that must be discussed in the most obscure way possible.

Neville High School in Monroe, LA's head football coach resigned. He was put through the ringer and exonerated for alleged misappropriated funds. Never made sense honestly. OP is saying he's resigned.

Yes

Not really. The original buzz was money/gates. Made absolutely zero sense. How would the head coach ever see, much less mess with gate money? He's coaching the entire time that is handled.

Yeah that makes no sense. He wouldn’t have access to it.

Yes, it seems to be a mess at Neville. First this between Jeff and the head baseball coach and gate fees. It seemed that was resolved last week when both were cleared but still I imagine some feelings were hurt. Then I hear the school board might be looking to move the principal to another school but that might be rumor gossip at this point and then the whole ordeal with the alumni association having an office at Neville which seemed to be frowned upon but nobody knew.

Head coaches are responsible for the gate after the game making sure it’s accounted for

Not trying to defend it but I know that the head of the alumni association had been there for a while. Like years. Maybe a decade. This lady absolutely bleeds Neville and does not have a malicious bone in her body. Someone pulled out this rule that while there was so obscure that it screams witch-hunt.

It’s been there for 40 years.

Damn, I was there about 35 years ago and had no clue but maybe alumni offices were a little above my paygrade back then. Knowing this, it only screams witch-hunt even more that it just now comes out that it was not ok.

All you have to do is look at the complete idiots on the school board. A true embarrassment to higher learning.

AD usually has the cashbox for the gate before a game but HC could have it too

after the game the AD would take the box but if the AD is not there then the HC would take it

AD/HC means one person responsible for the cashbox
