Because the accusation at the time of the crime described a 5'9" male.

She identified Winston from a picture within 2 hours of the incident (evidence)

She submitted to a rape kit (evidence)

Her attorney submitted a statement that he was warned by PD to tell his client to back off (evidence)

Winstons atty was pre-warned by PD of the accusation before any investigation took place (evidence of another kind)

The case was never submitted by PD to the prosecutors (evidence)

Once I heard she 'got taken advantage of while drunk' I've been skeptical.

I believe the blood work proved she was not drunk.

Sorry 5'9 to 5'11. Jameis is 6'4". That was her accusation, so can we use that as evidence it isnt him? Just wondering. Or can we only use "evidence" that helps your side of the story?

Speculative to me, because if, and that is a big IF, thats true then Winston is done.

Until I see something besides Message Board wanking on it I won't buy it though

yes, you surely can.

and then the judge/jury will weigh all the evidence and make a decision. that is how courts work.

Please remove that big long arse quote. 2-3 paragraphs and a link is enough. Thanks

So she was not overly intoxicated, she claims to have been raped by a man she ID'd as Jameis Winston, the TPD warned her to back off, and there's nothing to see here?

I also just learned that the victim ID'd another male, who turned out to be Winstons roommate as a witness to the assault (evidence)

The roommate was never interviewed (evidence of another kind)

Real coincidence that she also could also identify Winstons roommate the same night?

probably be enough to outweigh the "but Winston is 6'4"" argument. but who knows

You are only using one side of the story. Watch me do the same.

So, Jameis Winston said he wasn't there, he never confronted this individual aggressively in his life, and the Tallahassee PD didnt even think this warranted any attention, and people really think he is guilty?

So the victim is lying?

I wish people would get on the height and weight issue. Most people don't carry a tape measure around to take accurate measures. The girl probably just estimated his height and weight.

I, myself, would probably not be able to give a good measurement if I witnessed a crime.

This whole warning against the victim about pursuing the case sounds eerily similar to the penn state situation.

I'm going to let this play out and hopefully the criminal is correctly identified. If it is Winston he deserves everything and more coming at him.

Then why warn the atty to back off?

Why not submit the case to prosecutor for their take?
