Can anyone else remember the first name of damn near every driver in Nascar -- even the guys who never win and only race part time. I can do the same thing with golf. I don't watch either religiously, but for some reason, I can just remember their names.
I can't really do this with other sports.
Must have something to do with how often broadcasters mention full names on the broadcast rather than just referring to them by last names like other sports.

I can agree with that. I have no idea why I know Almirola's first name is Aric but I guess that's because they say the full names every time.
