Pats 38 Falcons 28. The Falcons defense is by far the worst unit in the Super Bowl.

Let's just keep on ignoring the fact that this defense has given up 21 ppg since the bye week (as opposed to 28 before it) and the average Falcons score since the bye has been 38-21.
But yeah, they don't belong on the same field as New England.
ETA: No outcome in this game would shock me except Atlanta's offense being shut down cold. I could see either team winning big or either team winning close.

Calm down homer.... Nobody said they don't belong on the same field.. But the dude is right, out of the 4 units The Falcon D is the worst of the 4....

And I agree.... The Falcons nerves are my biggest concerns... If they can get rid of the Jitters early.... The Pats could be in trouble... But give Bill two weeks and ya gotta watch out....

This is my biggest concern. I don't think they'll be jittery, but New England is usually really tough to beat with time to prepare. Ryan has been great when Julio is getting extra attention this year though, unlike previous years.

Couple of comments here.
ATL defense: When you have high powered offensive teams they put up lots of points so the only way for other teams to compete is to also try and match that. These teams are then forced to be always gunning for the big offensive plays to play catch up, sooner or later they get them and also score lots of points, but ultimately they can't keep up and lose.
I call this the Tony Romo factor, Tony's stats are padded because Dallas is always getting it's arse kicked so Tony has to go out there and sling the ball around padding his stats trying to come back to win...but Dallas always fell short.
So every body calm down on the ATL defense, they can afford to give stuff up because their offense is so awesome.
Last year was the opposite, Den couldn't get a first down but it didn't matter because their opponents could score double digits. The problem arises when the potent side of the ball fails to show up. I thought for sure last year Den didn't have one more game in them.....wrong.
Second point-
On media night last Monday night there was an interview with both Ryan and Brady simultaneously, I think by Deion Sanders. The look on Ryan's face while Brady was speaking was all BUSINESS, it was some where between angry and were gonna shite down your throats. It was a death stare, very similar to the one Phelps had this past Olympics with his rival in the waiting room shadow boxing.
ATL doesn't seem scared, they may have gotten over their past and be looking to take care of business!!

Man this is a tough one, I usually have no problem picking a game but this is super tough, on paper this is the best SB match up in a long time and it was exactly what I was hoping for pre playoffs.
I'd like to say Atl is inexperience, but in reality so is NE's team, only 20 of the 50 players were on the SB team 2 years ago sooo that argument is gone.
I'll break it down by quarter
QT1 QT2 QT3 QT4 Total
ATL 6 7 3 7 23
NE 10 0 6 7 23
So I am going OT for this one, I feel ATL special teams and especially kicking are better than NE so I give them a 3 pt advantage....but reality is what it is, Brady is worth a bonus 3pts so that still is a tie....
I fell this game is gonna come down to a costly turn over at some point and I just dont' know who will make the mistake, so I can't predict a winner. When these situations arise in the reg season I literally will just flip a coin.
I'd love to see Brady get 5, I'd love to see ATL get a win, I am so torn, I can't wait.
I do have a prediction as to the game plan. Everybody thinks NE is gonna take out Julio as the big threat, NE always takes out your best player, in reality that is Matt Ryan not Julio, so expect a ton of pressure on him and 4/5 guys always rushing.
Here is why, if you double Julio that will just leave somebody else open and reality is ATL has 6-7 other viable options so that isn't an option, you gotta cut the head of the snake off...IE Ryan.
Also expect Blount to play a major roles as ball control and field position will be key, the longer Ryan is on the bench they less points they will score. So look for short gains such as flat passes and runs to eat clo
Feeling pretty good about this baby predicting OT. They game didn't quite play out as expected, but I got a lot right, NE special teams and the kicked...missied PAT, NE definitely got to Ryan in 2nd half and shut him down, the sacks, etc. When the game mattered most Ryan had that costly turnover altough you could say that Blounts cost them a lot, he was cut off after that and they didn't use him so much, for good reason.
What a stellar game. I don't really feel like ATL choked, the game ended in a tie after 4 qts, so the Pats "choked" the 1st half and Falcons "choked" the 2nd half. Problem was NE got the ball in OT and they had the hot hand, ATL defense had been on the field the whole darn game and the damn finally let loose.
Love the NFL, happy for Brady and Bellicheat, what an amazing legacy and I got to be alive and watch it.
ATL, man, that's gonna sting, but you have a good team so try again next year.
