it wasn't raining at that point. I was about 7 rows up just towards the left field foul line from where it happened. it was a brutal hit. he was knocked out for sure. glad he's ok.

Hold up. This isn't a matter of communication. This was an in between play where neither player had enough of a bead on it to call the other off. Both players left their feet for the catch. What did you want them to say? "I MAY BE ABLE TO GET THERE!"
