It's crazy. This 6'3" skinny baby-faced guard is changing the way defenses have to play. You basically have to extend your defense to 30+ feet to guard him.

The NBA has never seen anything like what we saw tonight, it's just nutty.

Who hits 10+ 3s in back to back games?

I read on Twitter that Ray Allen(widely considered the GOAT 3pt shooter just 1.5 years ago) hit at least ten 3s in a game once in his career of 1300+ games, but Curry's done it in back to back games.

He's the GOAT 3pt shooter by such a wide margin, it's absurd.

A group of scientists seriously need to study Curry. He could teach us a lot about mechanics and muscle memory.

You don't think Curry can get any shot he wants? Why would he take ten footers when he shoots just as well from three and gets an extra point. Curry makes 46% of his threes which is the same point-wise as making 69% on twos which literally no one does from mid range unless you're limiting it to spot up guys.

He's also a great finisher at the basket at over 68%.

The game is different now.

Anyone saying Curry is a better all around player than MJ has some serious recency bias.

That's what I thought. No substance in your rebuttal. You attack the messenger instead of giving a real response because if you gave a real response it would show everyone how fricking retarded you are.

Michael Jordan didn't need a great shot because he could get any shot any time he wanted from anywhere. Curry can MAKE any shot from anywhere, there is a difference. A layup/dunk/FT/10 footer any time you want any of them is still a superior skillset.

Well in most cases you're absolutely right. But Curry shoots 47% from 3, which is more points than a 2 I think.

I mean stats back this up. Curry has a true shooting % of 64.3. MJ's best ever was 54.7. And yes this isn't taking defense into account, and I'm not discussing careers, but it absolutely destroys your assertion that MJ's offensive skill set was better than Curry (who is also a better passer).

So why isn't LeBron considered a better all-around player than MJ? He's a better rebounder, passer and defender. The only thing MJ has over him is scoring.

Lebron is no way a better defender than Jordan.

This dude is fricking insane. I don't care what anybody says. I've never seen someone with truly endless range. I mean this dude hits 30+ footers consistently.

And hes not only a shooter. He has the best handles in the league and can finish at the rim easily, and has ridiculous playmaking ability. One of the best passers in the L. This dude is actually a video game player.

I was reading an article that video game makers can't make a player as good as Steph right now without just letting him make shots from the dribble or awkward spots.

LINK

It's an unreal stretch for sure.

I think he's well on his way to surpassing LBJ ( with no insult to James) but don't know about passing MJ or Kobe without a few more years in the league. He's inarguably had the best 1.5 season offensive bout in history.

I posted last night that the Pistons were 10/14 from 3 mid-way through the 2nd quarter...then I saw Curry was 10/13 (at one point) and was like

Yeah the 2k developers don't know how to replicate his skill set. The term "Video game numbers" is nullified with him

This entire board is nothing but overly reactionary little mongoloids spouting recency bias.

O admiring he was hardly the best player is a big step for you.
