This bet sounds too vague/esoteric to get odds. Let us know if you get any play.

I look forward to seeing ZVR punt.

The Advocate says he averaged 40 yards a punt in high school. I think you're overestimating his ability. You've gotta remember punters usually stand around 14 yards behind the line of scrimmage.

Oh, so it's the other former Pirate from Zachary that is trying to walk on at LSU. What exactly are you hoping to accomplish with this really weird, dual message board troll job?

Who are you guys talking about?

The guy i know had an average for the season my junior year of about 53 yards if i remember right. Stats were kept on max preps that season and we would always check them during class. I believe that those stats were from the line of scrimage.

Also realy good friends with the deep snapper and he was always complaining that he would always line up way farther than he was supposed to be lined up.

Now granted we always punted from far away and always went for it when we were past the 50, so his average only came from punting long distances.

He could kick the hell out of it tho.

Not a troll. Legit. But he did not like to punt so i dont think that he would realy want that info out there that he can do it. Dont want to say his name and throw him under the bus.

Im just hoping that he can fulfill his dream and become a legit starter at the WR position

Anyone know if you can pull up old stats from max preps?

Ok. Just saw the past stats from max preps.

He led louisiana in punting stats in the year that i played with him Colby Dellahoussay was 3rd that year in punting stats.

But i guess the averages that I remember were not too accurate. It says 40.61 average with a long of 55. ( I do seem to remember that midway or so through the season his average was somewhers in the 50s because i remember looking at NFL averages and saying "holy shite". Could have had some shorter punts come playoff time when you actually punt past the 50 yard line.)

He never practice punts tho and has a ton of room for improvement. Was just a natural athlete. Hoping that he can go out and be a legit WR!

And yes. He did get drafted as a pitcher.

Legit being serious.

If you see a black guy punting for LSU next season then you herd it here first

But i know one thing. Ill be rooting hard for him to be a star at LSU. He has worked very hard to get there. Glad to see his dream come true. Will be the 2nd guy from my school to make the team in the last few years. Super glad for the both of them.

Seemed like is was alot further back then lol. Maybe the stats that we were seeing were not from the line of scrimage, but from the 15-18ish yards that he lined up from. I just remember that he always was kicking it far and talk of him being the best in the state stats wise, so i thought that that was pretty damn good.

He did lead Louisiana tho, and as i said, he never practiced it. It was just natural for him. Form was not all that great, but the coach just said that he did not care as long as he just kept kicking the hell out of it.

But thats what longshot bets are all about. Overcoming crazy odds.

And lsu does need to find a consistant punter. I remember last season too many shanks and short punts. Will be interesting to see what happens.
