LeBron joined two elite players and still stayed in the East. Miami was making a run without him in that division

I'm not for Lebron's move, but part of me thinks he went to Miami to make Dan Gilbert realize he had to pay for better players if they wanted to come close to a championship in Cleveland. Before the move to Miami, Lebron had garbage teammates in Cleveland.

Nah. They were paying, they just were getting garbage on those investments. Their evaluation is horrible. In the years after LeBron, they drafted Irving @ 1, Thompson @ 4, Waiters @ 4, Bennett @ 1, and Wiggins @ 1.

Only one of those is even a marginable star, and only two of those (Wiggins) were consensus picks.

LeBron built a superteam (Miami, Cleveland) to take down the team that was beating him (Boston, San Antonio). They had to come together with a bunch of new players and figure it out. LeBron's MO was "if you can't beat 'em, band together with better players and try again"

KD joined the superteam that beat him, his MO was "if you can't beat 'em, join em." The Warriors didn't have to build something with a bunch of new players, they already had a team in place that went 73-9.

LeBron is the dude who if he loses a pick up game, goes to the sideline and picks up two other really good guys to run next. What most people do.

KD is the guy who if he loses a pick up game, asks the winners if someone is jumping off and if he can run with them.

Lebron was traded to the Heat. Durant left as a free agent.

I told a friend of mine when KD pulled his move that today's weak Americans will end up lauding him for joining their favorite band of cupcakes. I can say that I have been buoyed that so many people have felt like I did regarding the biggest p#ssy move I have ever witnessed for a player of his caliber. I don't give a shite about LeBron, but I did like Durant pre quitting. I would never take a "man" like Durant in my platoon or my unit but maybe I'm just old fashioned. Keep up the good work gentlemen you are doing God's work, the everybody gets a trophy crowd will defend Durant to the death but we cannot give in to this group of weak links.
