That would be some real galaxy brain stuff there
Total value for 4th overall pick = 36 mil
Total value for being pick 33 = 9.8 mil
You become eligible for an extension at the same time either way, and NFL teams can still restrict your free agency via the tag, so there isn’t a whole lot of benefit to being in the 2nd round vs the 1st, even if only looking at it from a 2nd contract perspective
Hard to assume you are guaranteed to ever make up that 20 plus million dollar difference (more if you include the opportunity cost of having that money now vs having that same money in 4 years)
Not to mention once you get to the 2nd round, you are back in the range of usually the worst offensive situations available to you, and if he some how fell that far, he’d have very little chance to fall much further with teams like the panthers and others at the top of the round ready to pounce

It would take a La’el Collins situation because at some point, a team would just see your talent outweigh everything else, including what round you want to go in

Not saying it makes a ton of sense, but I've heard NFL GM's repeat over and over that the most important thing for a player to do financially is to get to free agency as fast as they possibly can. Rookie contracts are not very lucrative. The club option 5th year is a real obstacle for a player. If you listen to the NFL network GM's on there talk about how 2nd round picks have a distinct advantage over 1st round players because of that option year
Justin Jefferson's rookie contract was $13 million over 4 years with a $7 million signing bonus. His next contract will pay over $30 million per year or more. Even with the tag you are getting the average of the top 5 salaries, which would land you in the $27 million range. That beats playing that 5th year club option for $9 Million and then getting the tag. A guy like Amari Cooper, solid but not elite is making $24 million per year.
All of this is moot because no way he's dipping into the second round, but there are built in advantages.

This is arguing that someone is elite or great. The draft is full of can't miss first round picks that just don't translate or get injured early, so the risk reward definitely benefits an early first round pick.

I actually believe in property rights strongly. While it’s awful it happened, he had every right to shoot the guy (allegedly) from everything I’ve read. Maybe I missed something.

That situation was weird. By all accounts Marvin Harrison was a quiet, unassuming dude that did his job without controversy his entire career. Then someone got shot at his business and he has this new reputation. Weird all around.

I think he’s still really good, but there isn’t an ounce of doubt that he’s the projected top WR on name alone. He belongs in the top 4 or so, but this lock to be the top guy is ridiculous.
Now as we get closer and closer to the draft, the analysts seem to like Nabers more and more and the whispers are that more and more GMs are putting Nabers over MHJ.
So perhaps MHJ is still the better prospect and is drafted ahead of Nabers, but it is no longer super duper obvious, so back to the original point...why did he win the Biletnikoff over Nabers again?

I would point out to you that MHJ was not the leading WR for OSU in that game and that in the game prior to that one in the SEC title game, Nabors had similar production (more yards) against that same Georgia defense with a backup QB

Yea UGA was up 30 points at halftime against LSU. Scoring garbage time TDs against 2nd stringers isn't the same as being up by 14 points when the second best player on the entire field (aside from Stroud) went out for what many people would say was a dirty hit (I won't say targeting but that is unnecessary roughness all day in the NFL).
