Harrison seems like the type to skate by on name and talent and never live up to potential.

Jesus Christ this board sometimes.....

His dad murdered people

Why does this matter and us it a bad thing? The guy that died was pretty shitty and f'd with him. Could be justified.

It's always weird how people are judged regarding that topic. Don King killed multiple people and I never see people bring it up while taking about him..

Everything is a factor, another datapoint.

There have been quite a few players that were excellent, excellent college football players that did terrible in the combine, and then they sucked because they were just not good enough athletes (and many workout warriors that sucked).

Just have to take all of the data.

I don’t disagree. But that’s in the teams best interest, not the players. If you are a top guy, why give more data? If you are an unknown, go try to up your stock. He’s just bidding against himself the more workouts he does.

Cardinals have also said they've fielded a lot of calls about trading down.

So that might get awkward.

You really going to believe that? He didn't say anything about him having covid and breathing problems until the week of the draft?

What about the tweet he sent out about opting out that didn't mention anything about covid? If he had said he had COVID issues no one would have blinked for him opting out

Maybe some people don't like to share EVERYTHING all the time. He told the coaches and the team, and revealed the reason to everyone when his family felt it was right.

I know it's human nature to never believe anything that puts people in a good light, but I have to reason to not believe his story about what happened other than wanting to be cynical.

“Sources said Chase's decision is not specifically related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Rather, it is believed agents may have simply convinced Chase to leave before his third collegiate season. NFL rules state a player cannot be drafted until three years after his high school graduation.”

quote:

Ja'Marr Chase's father, Jimmy Chase, told Baton Rouge TV station WAFB that the pandemic, coupled with nationwide outrage and protests in regard to social inequality and racial injustice, led the Chase family to make a decision regarding the receiver's future.

“Ja’Marr has been wrestling with his feelings and his emotions, and it was just nonstop,” Jimmy Chase said. “It’s just such unprecedented times right now. He was wrestling with playing, but he was (also) wrestling with looking at his future, and what could and couldn’t be.”

Again, he could have just said Covid. But he didn't say that. It wouldn't have been 10000 topics on the rant if he had said he was having real problems with Covid. He never told anyone that until literally the week of the draft. And why would he tell them the week of the draft? Why not wait until after getting drafted if you have literal breathing problems from covid and you're a WR.

Come on
