Basically only people in the southeast don't wear jerseys to games, but the rest of the country are the outliers

I look at wearing jerseys as showing pride for the team. Fans wear caps, jackets, and head wear. It's a kids game. Enjoy being entertained for three hours. Everyone needs to feel attached to something.
There is a difference between wearing a game jersey to an actual game and wearing a jersey to the mall on a Wednesday night.
Team jackets and hats are cool anytime.

I just think it’s funny that jersey wearers are called out, but rocking the sideline cap, official team jacket, New Era hat, coaches polo, etc is ok.
For what it’s worth, I think the unintended throwbacks are the best.
