Ask yourself who the best four teams are.

Something like 30 straight wins might give them a case.

What the hell? I love how people just think the SEC is so great that no individual team outside is great.

That's not a good argument.

Oregon would have 3 SEC losses. So would TCU, Baylor, Ohio St.

Everyone in the SEC had 3 losses + except for Bama, and they likely SHOULD have lost to Arkansas and LSU.

There have to be 4 teams in and the undefeated team will make it.

doubtful. They'd be in the east and likely undefeated. SEC ain't all that great this year. Bama is a very good team. Miss state is good, everyone else is meh.

You and the rest of the people replying like this are dumb. The OP isn't taking about leaving FSU out, rather, the logic of keeping TCU in.

Then I would leave FSU out completely.

Yes - they won their games. That counts.
They also played an ambitious OOC schedule, at least on paper. Baylor and TCU and Ohio State did not.
The mistake the committee made was dropping them to number 4 in the first place.
At number 3, they can then flip their coins between Ohio State, TCU and Baylor.
