It depends on the school. There's some schools in the SEC I hope lose every time they take the field. But I also know that the more successful SEC teams are in the OOC, the likelihood my team gets a better bowl when bowl eligible because of the multiple teams in the playoffs and etc.
And all the SEC schools get a piece of the financial pie.

I actually do but as soon as an SEC school is attacked the whole conference defends them generally.

I don't see anybody defending Auburn.
I do see people not going full retard and claiming that a whole conference isn't good because of one team not performing up to preseason expectations. If you're going to talk about something being silly, talk about that assumption. Because if that's the case is the ACC shite because Houston just beat Louisville and they were picked 3rd in the Atlantic behind Clemson and Florida State?
