All colleges do that. Hell back in the 70's when I was getting recruited for baseball every visit I took had knockouts assigned to entertain us

June is such a lazy frick he doesn't even visit the LOCAL high schools for recruiting.
His reasoning is that they cant compete for the best kids so why bother trying? Instead he expects kids to contact HIM.
I get that mentality when you are in Hawaii and have a tiny budget but when you are in DFW and have tons of talent within a stones throw.... I mean holy shite man that is some real laziness.
I know for a fact that he hasn't ever set foot on local power Cedar Hill's campus in the 6 (now 7 years) he has been at SMU for example.

I thought for sure he'd get canned after the losing season last year but I guess those Hawaii bowls bought him a bit more of a leash.
I think he may be on the way out after this year though. He already got in hot water with the AD when he suggested on the radio that the G5 schools should play in spring b/c (his words) they can't compete. Sounds more to me like he is looking for ways to extend his unwarranted salary.
