Can you or one of the (L)astros fans in this thread give us a preview of the team so we can know what to expect in the coming days?

Or at least the scouting report on Feldman.

Present.

Im excited to see what cc's gonna do without a dominate fastball.

Lineup still scares the hell out of me, but if tex can have a productive year i think we can make the playoffs if our pitching stays some what healthy.

Itll be nice to finally see pineda pitch.

Reports are he has lost the velocity. I want to see Tanaka and see if Pineda is worth anything.

Worried about bullpen

Yeah, that's pretty much what everyone is looking for. He has to have a sub-4.00 ERA.

I think it'll be alright. Have decent hitting depth once Nunez is called back up. Like everyone, I like Kelly Johnson's potential a lot.

For real.

Fun fact:

There are only six players on the opening day roster left from the 2009 title team.

CC Sabathia
David Robertson
Francisco Cervelli
Mark Teixeira
Derek Jeter
Brett Gardner

I know it's been five years now, but when you look at how long the Core Four stayed around after their glory years, it makes you sad about the turnover.

And I don't want to jinx it, but I think Jeter might homer against Feldman to the short seats in left.
